Senior Software Tester (Software Business)
Roles & Responsibilities:
A Tester Engineer is responsible to execute software testing,
with or without test design provided by Test Leader, and
document test result and defects found to communicate with
System Analyst for solving, before performing appropriate
regression test of the defect fixed software.
• Join the project activities for test execution activities according to the organization standards
• Perform test execution activities according to the organization standards
• Create and maintain test result and defects, and communicate with SA for solving.
• Report test results and his/her activity status to Test Leader
• Develop user manual / operational manual as appropriate
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related fields.
• Minimum 2 years experience in software testing or software development.
• Knowledge/skills in one or more of the following areas: Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux Red Hat and Windows operating system skills; Oracle and SQL Server database skills; TCP/IP networking skills; Internet technologies
• Knowledge of SQL language will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of CMMI and SOA will be an advantage.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically.
